Understand the processes relating to battery module and pack design

Operational and physical requirements, process steps including: Requirement/specification, choice of cells, components required, CAD, BOM and source materials, prototype build, streamlining of manufacture process, bench testing, regulation requirements testing.

Identify the main design points of a battery module and pack

Design considerations including: size, weight, power, cooling, output

Design and evaluate a battery module and pack based on specific requirements

Evaluation reporting including: initial specifications, step by step design process, methods of assessment, assessment outcome vs original specification, lessons learnt, future improvements and environmental impact.
